A love letter to my late grandparents

Meet the lovely old Dutch home where the grandparents Treintje and Gerard live. Treintje lovingly tends to her wildflower-filled garden and vegetable garden; you could say she has quite the green thumb. She made a vegetable garden to teach her children how to grow vegetables, but nowadays she grows her grandchildren’s favorite vegetables.

Gerard meanwhile, takes care of the inside of the house and likes to make the items Treintje needs for her garden, but also chops the wood to chop the wood for the woodstove. They own several pets, a couple of chickens, and one dog but they also help the nearby ducks when they have little ones.
