Shortened description from Brooklyn Museum: “Upper part shows Ramesses II standing on the right receiving the insignia of kingship from Amun, behind him stands Mut, five rows of hieroglyphs below… At the base of the stela are two cartouches surmounted with disks and flanked on each side with a pair of Rhkyet birds.”
The hieroglyphs specify the king’s five names:
Horus name: kꜢ-nḫt mri-rꜤ (The strong bull, beloved of Ra)
Nebty name: mk-kmt wꜤf-ḫꜢswt (Protector of Egypt who curbs foreign lands)
Golden Horus name: wsr-rnpwt ꜤꜢ-nḫtw (Rich in years, great in victories)
Throne name (nsw-bity name): wsr-mꜢꜤt-rꜤ stp.n(y)-rꜤ: The truth of Ra is powerful, chosen of Ra
Birth name (Son of Ra name) : rꜤ-msi-sw mri-imn: Ramesses (Ra has made him), beloved of Amun
