The Queen of the Caverns

Some say the old spider giant is as timeless as the caverns themselves, and that the two have never been apart. In the early years the goblins worshiped her and presented great gems and treasures to her, proclaiming her the Queen. After a few centuries the goblins became less and less obedient and one year they rose up against the Queen, their bones can be seen scattered around the caverns to this very day.

Now, she waits patiently for her next meal, using the treasure as bait and plotting all the while. Many a greedy adventurer has bravely ventured into her home, craving her loot. She would not let them have it so easily, besides, she grows hungry.

Her eggs are due to hatch any day now, and the nearby mining village will never know what hit them when she has her army.

She undoubtedly is - the Queen of the caverns.
