Always a fab experience at Heanton Court! We visited last Sunday for Father’s Day and there was a set menu for this day. This was my first visit since being diagnosed with coeliac disease earlier this year and the waiting staff couldn’t have been more helpful with answering my questions and checking how food was prepared and cooked. I felt safe eating here and the food was delicious!! Big shout out to our waitress, unfortunately didn’t get her name but she said the chef was her partner! She let me know how dishes could be adapted to suit my dietary requirements, for example the mushroom starter could be served with a gluten free roll that came packaged up so no risk of cross contamination. Sea bass main course was super yummy and then our fab waitress offered me a slice of cheesecake that was also gluten free for dessert that wasn’t originally on the set menu!!

Went for lunch. Plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the estuary. Order at the bar. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Menu has alot of choices. Starters, mains and dessert, light bites, sides, pizzas and burgers. Food presented very well and was hot, fresh and tasty. Good selection of drinks. Nice surroundings. Prices reasonable what you expect. Would recommend.

Had the absolute best valentines meal here ! The food was stunning, the steak was the best steak I've ever eaten (I'm a huge steak fan) The log fire was stunning and the value for money well £30 for a 3 course meal! I would of paid double easy! ❤️❤️ We travelled an hour and it definitely didn't disappoint.

Stopped in for an evening meal, used online booking which was very simple. Found the online menu really easy to use as a vegan, selected the vegan setting and it just shows what's available! Staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was brilliant. Hot and tasty with very prompt service. Will definitely go again and recommend to all!

Came for the set menu at lunch time. The food and service exceeded my expectations. I didn't expect more than generic pub grub, but the offering from Heanton raised that game. Nice food, good beer, pleasant atmosphere and nice location.

Another success from M&B. Our server Elise was outstanding. She was polite and helpful. We were very well looked after. The food was very good and well presented! Had the camembert frita on caramalised onion and mushroom chutney together with the Sticky crispy chicken in sweet chilly (freshly made). Absolutely worth a visit...

We had a wonderful Sunday roast here for mothers day. Even though it was the evening all options were still available on the menu after a busy lunchtime. All of the food looked amazing when it arrived and tasted just as good. The service was brilliant and we were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. Everyone was catered for.... Even the 2 dogs that we had with us. Very dog friendly with all that you need and plenty of space for them to lie down while we ate. It was all perfect 😊.
