An incredibly place for a cyclist. Excellent service and wonderful people. 10 out of 10. They helped my friend instantly while we were on an organised cycling holiday but the rest of us wondering around looking at their beautiful store. Then beding down to have a wonderful late lunch. Great staff all round. Thank you everyone.

I came in to upgrade my 6 year old daughter’s bike as we are always more comfortable buying in store. She was sized and allowed to try a few different bikes in store. When she chose the one that she loved, it was serviced and I left with a very happy girl. Great value and service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of the best bacon sandwiches I've ever had! Bike tourers have big bellies, and they done me good! (proper pot of tea to boot - not a 1 and 1/3 cup pots) Just circumnavigated GB and this place stands out of all the cafés along the way. Seems a great bike shop too.

My rear gear cable snapped during a 4-day cycling trip, while in the hardest gear! Luckily, we were 5 miles from Barnstable and The BikeShed, who very kindly sorted us out early on a Sunday morning, very reasonably and with no drama, while we got a coffee. Without them, it would have been game over - thank you!

Excellent service & support, fabulous bike shop & cafe in one! Stopped here when one of our party doing the Devon C2C had a complete brake failure. Had initially tried to get help at Southfork Bikes in Braunton but they had refused even to look at the bike. In contrast, the guy in Bike Shed immediately took a look and was able to fix the problem in about 10 minutes. Fantastic attitude & service and the whole group also stopped to have lunch in the excellent cafe one-site, and have a browse round the impressive stock of bikes. Very impressive shop and a great resource for local cycling community - just a shame we are not a bit nearer to use it more frequently! Many thanks.

Recently on holiday I was in desparate need of two 20" tubes for me daughter's bike and raced over from Instow in a cab just as the shop was closing. I had phoned ahead and despite traffic they were able to supply me with what I needed. What a great shop! While I was there I decided to get a pump and bottle cages and they had exactly what I needed at really resonable prices. Will definitely be my go-to shop next time I'm in North Devon!
