Cherry Tree Farm Campsite

Myself and a friend booked a visit here in celebration of our 40th birthdays. Having not camped in years we were a little rusty. With little research into the area we were pleasantly surprised. Located on the Jennies pitch next to the toilet block. Having now read other reviews, had fallen lucky as not far to travel.|The toilets were clean and inspected regularly. I would imagine if you were further a field and had children this might require more effort. Reception were helpful and informative giving advice and recommendations on the area. We had no problem getting a shower and the water was always warm. If I were to be critical I would suggest they provide a squeegee so that campers can clean them out after use. Loved the rustic look about the place and it was clear that the campsite was well looked after. Would have loved to have taken advantage of some of the other activities but were a bit slow on the up take, I would suggest following the campsite on social media as that’s where most information was published about upcoming events. I liked that the campsite offered power banks for charging phones, however staff agreed that the system needed more thought as often they were uncharged (modern day problems eh!)|All in all we liked the campsite, thought it was a reasonable walk to the beach and village. We plan to return next year with our families for a short stay. As we love a good view might look at booking a pitch on Rockets as had an amazing view of the coast.

We had an absolutely magical stay at Cherry Tree farm. We spent a week here and honestly, we all wanted to stay longer. It’s the first holiday we’ve had when the kids have both been so sad to leave. It’s a brilliant spot with great views and although the campsite is busy it doesn’t feel it as there is so much space. In the evenings you could hear the sound of children playing but it all became nice and quiet at a very respectable time. The showers and toilets were always nice, clean and well stocked. There is a pop up coffee shop that is on site every morning, which does a great cuppa, and it’s a lovely extra touch. A local bakery comes to the site with fresh bread and cinnamon buns and they do a round of the tents, which we loved. We also had an Embers pizza, which is another pop up that visits twice a week, and the pizza was delicious and a hit with the whole family. The sauna and ice bath is something very unique for a campsite, reasonably priced and great views. Both the village of Croyde and the beach were short walks away. The village itself has a lovely feel to it, with several places to eat and drink, along with a few shops and we took advantage of two local markets in the village during our stay, with local, handmade goods being sold. Both were great. I honestly can’t say enough about how great this site is and how amazing our holiday, in general, was. It’s our new favourite campsite and we will be back!

What a lovely campsite. Showers and toilets were always clean. Plenty of space with each pitch and staff wandering around litter picking/cleaning/checking alls ok. There was a Pizza van one night (get there early to avoid disappointment) and a van serving tea and coffee plus bakes in the morning. Very easy to walk to the beach or the pub. Both roughly 10 minutes. We paid £3 for two ice blocks which we then swapped as often as we wanted. All staff were pleasant and happy to help. Definitely stay again and highly recommended.

We had a fantastic long weekend at Cherry Tree Farm campsite! We've been coming here for years and the new owners were really lovely and welcoming. The facilities are always clean and all the staff were great! Really love the lower hedges and great views to the sea and hills. I didn't manage to use the sauna but friends loved it - a great new addition!

July ‘25 stay - Great location close to the beach. Very pricey for a family of 4 adults but that seems to be the standard for North Devon. Toilets are very basic around the site. Showers only available at block by reception. The arrival and reception experience was frosty. Found that my experience was common after laughing about it with other campers. The wider team out in the field are great. Front desk is stressful so not for everyone! Genuinely not a personal attack, just chill out, it’s camping. A great time was had overall!

We have just got back from an idyllic week at Cherry tree farm, the views are spectacular, the team that run the site are happy, helpful and really informative. The facilities are great, showers really powerful, all kept really clean and nice. This is our favourite ever campsite and we will def be back. However if you like lots of activities, club house etc, this is not the campsite for you! The pizza van on Wednesdays is delicious, and the bakery that pops in delivering sourdough and cinnamon buns is fantastic too. There is a coffee and cake truck first thing in the morning in high season! If you love a campsite that is chilled, quiet, with beautiful views you can’t get better than Cherry Tree Farm.

Cherrytree Farm is in an excellent location. You can hear the sea from the campsite and at night hearing the waves crashing is so relaxing. We stayed after the summer holidays with not great weather so had most of the site to ourselves. Toilets and shower facilities were good. Staff were helpful.

Just had a lovely night camping at Cherry Tree campsite in Croyde. A lovely, clean, well kept site. Staff were friendly and very approachable. Nice and close to Croyde so easy enough to walk into town and the beach. Had breakfast at the laundry restaurant on site, with a coffee and cake from Bake and Brew in the morning. Would thoroughly recommend this site ❤️.
