A truly wonderful experience! Me and my partner love our native wildlife, and I myself am training to be an Ecologist, so this little haven in the middle of the North Devon Countryside was perfect! Both Jodie and Jeremy were very welcoming, and Jeremy in particular was more than happy to share his knowledge of local wildlife (in particular birds and bats) which provided an invaluable learning experience!||We will certainly be returning.||Thank you!

We recently had the most amazing stay at Little Comfort Farm. The setting is so peaceful and quiet and it was such a joy to stay there. In fact we didn’t want to come home. One of the highlights was Jeremy’s farm / coffee morning and our 3 year old son was able to get involved with feeding the chickens and moving the sheep from one field to another. We then went on a walk around the farm with Jeremy to look for reptiles and birds. Jeremy was so friendly, approachable and knowledgable and has a clear passion for what he does. Jeremy & Jodie are a perfect team and are running such a lovely business together, which is deep rooted in their ethos as Ecologists. We felt so welcome throughout our stay, and loved the extra touches like vegan biscuits on arrival (as we had previously advised that we are a plant based family). The onsite shop was also well stocked with a range of plant based food. We stayed in The Granary and loved everything about it. We cannot recommend this farm highly enough and we will definitely be back for another visit. Thank you both! x

What a lovely place! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and stay at Little Comfort Farm. Jodie and Jeremy have gone to enormous lengths to make this place a truly memorable experience, with lots of personal touches including the tour around parts of the farm and meeting the chickens and geese! We stayed in one of the cottages, with a superbly equipped kitchen (useful for a family), and well sized bedrooms. We thoroughly recommend Little Comfort Farm and hope, when the weather is rather better, we'll have a chance to return!

We had a wonderful time at Little Comfort Farm - Jeremy and Jodie have made a real haven for both wildlife and guests! Seeing a tawny owl on a nature walk was particularly special. Rooms are lovely and the on-site shop is particularly helpful. Despite feeling very remote, the location is in easy reach of Woolacombe and Barnstaple.

After a wonderful time last year with our grand children they insisted we return again this year. Our accommodation at the Granary was to a very high standard with ample room for a family of four. Farmer Jez scored top marks for the farm and reptile walk where the children experienced slow worms and a fast disappearing grass snake. They enjoyed feeding the chickens, guessing how many eggs had been laid and shepherding the geese from the barn into the apple orchard. They met Pumbaa the friendly sheep and enjoyed watching the one week old calves frolicking in the meadow. Another great highlight was the bat watch one evening where we saw a number of different species as they emerged to begin their nightly hunt for food. |While there is plenty to do on the farm there are a number of superb sandy beaches within a short drive with our favourite being Putsborough.|Jodie and Jeremy are very warm, welcoming hosts and I highly recommend a visit to Little Comfort Farm.

Absolutely brilliant. Excellent accommodation with loads of room for all of us (family of 3, family of 4 + a dog). Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen etc. Amazing grounds including the fishing lake which was like having my own little bit of paradise for a week. Attended the bat walk, reptile walk and moving the cows with Jez who was a perfect host.|Downsides (I'm clutching at straws here!): the lane down the house is pretty tight which in itself was fine but was overgrown too so unless you like polishing cars (luckily I do!) then the undergrowth will scratch your car so requires a bit of elbow grease to sort. And although the Mill House is wheelchair friendly, the rest of the grounds weren't as well equipped for someone in a wheelchair.|Was a superb holiday though and we'll definitely be back at some point in future.

Little Comfort Farm is set in a beautiful location, and Jeremy and Jodie have an impressive knowledge of nature which they generously share on farm trails, nature trails and bat walks when you stay with them. The cottage we stayed in was cosy and comfortable for our family of 4 plus two dogs, and the location is within 15/20 minutes of the Tarka trail, beautiful beaches and amazing walks. You can also take a stunning 40 minute walk along a footpath through the farm's land to a lovely pub, the Crown at West Down. Recommended.

We had a lovely stay at the farm. Jeremy was super knowledgeable and we were lucky enough to see a lot of different bats during our bat walk! Our toddler loved helping feed the chickens and take the geese out for their morning walk. Great location for us as only 15 mins away from Saunton Sands for some surfing. One of the most peaceful places we’ve stayed.
