We had 1 week holiday in a house 30 seconds away, and after having our first nights meal here we loved it. We then had 5 more nights of meals here (tried the specials and the normal menu items, and the kids had the kids menu food). This also coincided with a stag do and the meal was here. All our meals were delicious, big but not too big, and the cocktails and drinks were all perfect. Some people have mentioned price but honestly we never spent more than £100 for a family of 4 with desserts and more than 1 drink each etc. So (given that its Croyde, which is not going to be cheap) the pricing was spot on. Highly recommended and would go again for sure. Staff also very friendly.

Great pub/restaurant. Excellent menu with wide range of Gluten free and low alcohol choices. The band on Friday were first class. Don't like dogs wandering around unleashed (as last evening)and hope that the waiters and waitresses wash their hands after petting them. Always come here when in Croyde!

Nice service and lots of seating, however their system seems like a total mess. It’s hard to catch employees to ask question how ordering works and then when we finally fingered it out, I had to stand in line for a long time simply because there were no employees at the till, they were busy cleaning tables. The food was nice, however I’m very disappointed with their meat free options - I feel like in 2025 we can do better than hummus and falafels. The vegan option at the buffet, instead of meat, was nut roast and I can’t help but wonder if the person who made it would actually eat it themselves. It was flavourless, dry and felt like sand mixed with stones (not kidding) I feel like even a simplest vegan sausage or chicken would be so much better 🥺

As a family we have a weeks holiday on Croyde on a yearly basis and we always visit the this pub/restaurant and have experienced lovely food and great atmosphere but this year was a major disappointment. On the plus side the sausages trio was as good as last year however . Two of our party had the fish n chips and it came out burnt. Someone had the Seafood Linguini which was very bland and lack of flavoring and colour. The place lacked atmosphere so as a group we have decided not to come back next year.

Fabulous service. We have eaten here for the past two nights and throughly enjoyed both meals. The venue is lovely, a traditional old pub with a few modern twists. Great selection of drinks. Dog friendly

Went for Sunday carvery late July 25. Only found this place by luck & boy have we found a gem. Absolutely lovely food & people & the Malteser cheesecake was unreal. Son loved the full rack of ribs. Just a short walk up from the village of Croyde. 10/15 minutes walk from Croyde Bay.

Well above average pub fare, with a decent chef and super service. This pub has a business plan that works and caters for all customers, families, singles and couples. Second time here and would certainly come again.
