I had an extremely disappointing experience at this store on 25 of May 2025. I purchased a TV advertised as fully functional, but it was faulty due to an incorrect remote. Returning to exchange it was a nightmare. The manager acknowledged the issue but refused to honor the original discounted price from a promotional sale, insisting I pay full price for a replacement. After wasting time and fuel on two trips, I was offered a scratched display model as a replacement, which was unacceptable. I suggested another TV with the same original price, but was told I’d need to pay an extra £20, as the discount couldn’t be applied. Ultimately, the manager processed a refund, leaving me without a TV and feeling cheated after multiple trips. Her dismissive attitude and lack of accountability were shocking for a store manager. This experience wasted my time and money, with no resolution offered. I’m escalating this to head office and urge others to shop elsewhere until customer service improves. Avoid this store!

Worth a visit for sure. One of those places you don’t need a plan to visit or something in particular you need. Lots of reduced and low price items, from TVs, Lego, Sofas and PS5 games. Most items have an argos code so a quick google will tell you further details / the full normal price. Decent sized car park too.

A great shop for the odd purchase. Make sure to check the current sale price on Argos and Sainsbury's as often Clearance Bargains is the same or more expensive. Great for garden furniture and TV's. No quibble returns.

I had a terrible experience from this store. I bought a TV on 13/6/25 evening and found it was damaged very soon. Upon returning that to the next day, they acknowledged that it is damaged and refused to replace or refund. They are saying that we have to adjust with the damaged TV. After arguing with the store manager lady we give the TV for manager to take it home for free rather than bringing it back home. Very rude staff and manager. Judging the people by their look and what they wear. Don not recommended at all......

One need to be very careful when buying an item from this store. Their return policy is very bad and poor, I bought a TV from the store and when it was delivered to me I noticed the energy rating on the TV box is G. I wanted to change that Tv and swap it with a different one which has a good energy rating, but the store refused saying since the Tv is not faulty the can’t change it for me, their delivery service and the men doing their delivery are very rude. My experience with Argos Clearance Bargains is just worse. I won’t recommend anyone to buy or shop with them.
