One Year Strong at Eley Fitness – The Best Decision I Ever Made! A year ago today, I walked into Eley Fitness for the first time, and from that moment, I was blown away. The facility itself is top-notch, but what truly sets this place apart is the incredible people who train here. From day one, I felt welcomed by a community of like-minded, motivated individuals who bring an unbeatable energy to every session. Over the past year, I’ve not only trained here but had the privilege of working in this environment, and I can honestly say it’s been the best year of my life. The atmosphere is electric—whether it’s a regular day in the gym or one of the amazing events we put on, the buzz is unreal. If you’re looking for a place that pushes you, supports you, and surrounds you with positivity, look no further. I’m beyond grateful for the experiences, friendships, and opportunities this gym has given me, and I can’t wait for what’s to come!

I started training at Eley Fitness just over a year ago. Being an ex professional footballer who moved into full time work running my own businesses, I found it really hard to prioritise my own health and fitness. I was told about Eley Fitness so decided to get in contact with them. I knew after my initial chat with Ed that this would be the place for me. The environment is amazing… From equipment, to staff to other members! You feel welcome straight away. The classes have been great for me. It’s given me 45mins to switch off from work and family life as I don’t really need to think about what I’m doing. There’s always a great session plan to follow and all the help you need from the Pt’s and other members! It’s been a game changer to get me back looking after myself again!

Having been apprehensive about getting back into fitness after a long time out, Eley Fitness has been a saviour. Without doubt it is the most welcoming gym environment I've ever been into - there is a huge range of abilities and ages, and everyone is greeted with the same warmth. Because there is a range of ages and abilities though, don't make the mistake of thinking it won't be hardcore enough if you are already well into fitness - some of the classes can be savage (in a good way!). The facilities are excellent, the classes are varied and fun, but it's clearly the people and environment that keeps people coming back. Having just moved to the area, the Eley vibes have really helped us settled into life here. It's definitely more than a gym, and would strongly recommend to anyone considering joining.

I’ve been going to Eley Fitness since December, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made for my fitness journey. From day one, I felt welcomed - not just by the amazing trainers but also by the community of members who genuinely support each other. The facility is well-equipped, clean, and has everything you need for a great workout - whether you’re into strength and conditioning training or functional fitness. The group trainers (Ed, Izzy, Matty & Myles) are so knowledgeable, motivating, and always willing to help with form, technique, or just general workout advice. What really sets Eley Fitness apart though, is the atmosphere. It’s not just a gym; it’s a community. Everyone, from beginners to long standing members (no matter the age), push each other to be better, and there’s a real sense of togetherness. It makes turning up and putting in the work so much more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a gym that offers an exceptional standard of training, an encouraging environment, and a strong sense of community, Eley Fitness is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Eley Fitness is everything you’d want from a gym. As soon as you walk in you feel instantly welcomed and put at ease. Ed and his team are highly professional, well-informed, and genuinely committed to assisting their clients in reaching their fitness goals. In particular, Izzy’s passion for everything health and fitness shines through in what she does and she has a supportive and encouraging nature that makes you want to keep pushing on! I have absolutely loved my trips to Eley and look forward to many more in the future. Would definitely recommend!!

What a great place Eley Fitness is! Friendly, welcoming, and above all professional, I can't recommend Ed and his colleagues highly enough. I have enjoyed every second since I joined last year, the classes are varied and challenging, and yet the environment is very relaxed and easy-going. The best gym classes in the local area! I have been going to Eley Fitness since March 2022 after trying their initial freebie week and I have never done the same class twice. Ed & Torie create the most welcoming gym environment and make all workouts suitable for all abilities - whether you’re training for a specific goal or just getting started/starting over. Their latest timetable has sessions over 7 days - morning, noon and night - so it makes getting sessions in so much more achievable too 🙌🏽 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I joined the gym a few months ago and I am so glad I did! As someone who has never been consistent with exercise and always felt a bit lost in a gym it has been so nice to find a gym which is so welcoming and has classes which you can turn up to and know you will get a good workout. All the personal trainers are very approachable and supportive; especially as someone who has never done this type of exercise before and a complete novice! They also encourage you and make the classes fun. I would recommend the gym to anyone looking to improve their fitness in a fun and supportive environment!
