dodo model: navigation and troubleshooting

This document outlines the navigation controls for the Dodo Model viewer. You can interact with the 3D model using your mouse or touch screen. Left-click and drag or a single finger drag (on touch devices) will orbit the model. Double-clicking, scrolling, or pinching (on touch devices) will zoom. Right-click and drag or a two-finger drag (on touch devices) allows you to pan the view.

For more precise camera control, use these shortcuts: 1-finger drag or the Left Mouse Button to move the camera. Use a 2-finger drag or the Right Mouse Button, or SHIFT + Left Mouse Button to pan. These controls provide fine-grained adjustments to your perspective within the 3D environment, allowing for detailed inspection of the model.

You can manipulate the lighting to better showcase the model. Use a 3-finger drag or ALT + Left Mouse Button to rotate the lighting. To rotate the environment only, use ALT + SHIFT + Left Mouse Button. This gives you control over the visual presentation of the 3D model, highlighting specific features and textures.

Enable first-person navigation for a more immersive experience. Use the arrow keys (↑, ←, ↓, →) or the W, A, S, D keys to move. Look around by dragging with one finger or using the Left Mouse Button. Adjust your movement speed using the Mousewheel. This mode offers a unique perspective and enhanced control.

Your device's version may be too old to display models in AR. A version of Android or newer is required. Consider updating your device or trying on a different one. You can also open the model with a QR code by scanning the provided code and tapping the AR icon. AR functionality is not always available for every model; please check back later.

If you encounter problems, here’s what to check: It’s possible the 3D viewer experienced an error, or there's a connection error.
