Sketchley Grange Hotel & Spa

From the moment we arrived everything about this hotel exceed our expectation The staff was incredibly warm, welcoming and professional making us feel like VIP guest 😄. Checking was seamless and quick and explained every detail for our stay to be more memorable 💖 I wish I could remember the lady name from reception! The room was incredible big ( I think the biggest room I ever had ) it was very clean , even the bed was so comfortable that I was like sleeping on a cloud 😍 and attention to detail was incredible. The bathroom was clean and big have a separate shower, and separately bath ( pure amazing) . When we had dinner at the hotel the meal was incredible good and I can stay It was a masterpiece I just want to thank you for much for that evening was amazing. Breakfast buffetin the morning was with fresh diverses and it was tasty 😋 The facilities were just as impressive the spa was incredible, the pool was nice temperature, clean , jacuzzi was very hot and clean, steam room very hot , and the sauna ( dry ) was very hot and clean very impressive not many spa have this high standards ( to keep them clean ) Location was good , free car park. This was without a doubt one of the best hotel experience we've ever had. I can't wait to come back. Thank you Skechley Grange Hotel and Spa for everything.

We visited the Spa for my wife's birthday using an experience voucher which included afternoon tea.||We were greeted at the spa reception by Kyle who was friendly and very helpful in explaining where everything was. ||We started in the well equipped gym, running 5km on the treadmills before a little weight work.||Then it was off to the spa where we enjoyed a nice latte by the pool. There were plenty of sunbeds and a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi to use as well as a decent sized pool.||We were able to go to the hotel restaurant in our robes where Evan had set up a nice table for us for our afternoon tea. We had a good selection of sandwiches (including vegetarian for my wife) and desserts including scones cream and jam. Evan was very helpful and attentive ensuring we were comfortable and had plenty of tea refills. He definately had a "can do" approach!||Altogether we had a very relaxing spa day which we will do again.

Stayed here for a 3 day conference. Hotel excellent in all aspects. |Large carpark, easy access to the hotel. Rooms spacious, clean and very comfortable. Staff excellent, all friendly and polite even when busy. |Food excellent for all meals. Fresh ingredients, plenty of food available and staff very responsive at refilling before the buffet was empty. Despite a very busy buffet, food was hot and good choice. Food intolerances well catered for. ||Overall lovely hotel and excellent conference facilities

I booked a nights stay 28/9/25 for my friend’s birthday as a treat for us both. We arrived to check in and the guy on reception was so friendly chatty and accommodating, he uplifted us right from the start of our stay! Our room was beautiful, hot drink facilities, comfy beds and a gorgeous bathroom! We checked out the spa facilities and they were 1st class, some top hotels that I’ve stayed in the spa facilities have been shoddy and in need of attention but not here. |Our evening meal was beautifully presented as was the help yourself breakfast so the food was way above average. All of the staff, ie reception, bar staff, waiting staff, and breakfast staff were second to none on being friendly, helpful and attentive. The outside area was lovely, the sun was shining in the afternoon and we had a couple of drinks on the garden by the bar area prior to dinner and it was all well kept and so relaxing. Overall this was an amazing stay for two ladies looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of home/work life and I have booked for another relaxing stay with another friend in November . As well as booking for their Christmas party night in December! You won’t be disappointed with your stay here, the management obviously know what they’re doing to accommodate guests and ensure that their stay is memorable! 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

2 night stay at this hotel a a last minute getaway. It was our 2nd visit but didn’t enjoy as before. It’s a shame we couldn’t get a treatment in as told they fully booked which we didn’t realise otherwise would have booked in advance. ||The room and service at reception was very good as I’d also managed to book a suite but service at bar and breakfast wasn’t all that great. |At breakfast the waiter reached over our food to pick up used plates and could have quite easily come round the other side. |The bar staff were ok and pleasant. I’d requested a simple cheese toastie and they checked if able to do. When it did arrive it was cold with 2 slices bread toasted with grated cheese in middle. |A toastie to me is with melted cheese. We ate as ordered couldn’t be bothered to ask.

We arrived here for a night away a little break away from our baby.. 4 star hotel? I think is way to generous! I’ve been to more pleasant 3 star hotels. The lady who checked us in got the check in cards wrong so we had to go down 2 times to correct her which was tiring enough after 3 hours of driving. Surely she should send someone up after the first time to make sure all was ok? Rooms were outdated a lot of rotten seals in the bathroom. We decided to head out as we didn’t want to stay in the room for to long. We ended up returning past midnight to see the plug in the bathroom was jammed in so we couldn’t use the sink, had to wash face in the bath tub, as it was so late we didn’t want to kick up a fuss as we were also tired. Came down to check out told the lady at reception with no apologies but saying I will let management know… thanks 👎

Our annual trip to our long-departed ' stamping ground ' to catch-up with family & friends. Once again we ' hunkered down ' for 3 nights in Sketchley Grange hotel. Myself, wife and Lucy (our little doggy pal) had a lovely ( albeit short ) stay at the hotel. Great to see Chrissie again on ' patrol ' at breakfast ensuring we were settled in and enjoying our ' Marmite soldiers' lol. Thanks once again Chrissie, we shall return . . . God willing ! Many thanks to Sarah on the reception desk for her smiling face and enduring patience as we returned again & again because the data on our door keycard seemed to have caught a virus ? Well done again, Sketchley and staff.

The staff here are always friendly welcoming and approachable. We have stayed here a few times and akways come away happy and relaxed.The rooms are spotless and welcoming. The service and food in the restaurant are great.| My partner had a stroke last year and struggles with his mobility. When we visit we like to use the pool and spa. Unfortunately there isn't a disabled area where I can help him get changed, but Ben in the spa kindly offered us a solution and took my partner through to poolside for me and brought him back afterwards. It would have been so easy to just say sorry we can't accommodate you,, but Ben went above and beyond to help us and make our experience there great, so he very much deserves some praise and recognition. Thankyou Ben very much.
