Liked: We had a lovely stay at Strawfields. We spent a week in The Nook and it was cozy, private and the private hot shower seemed blissful. The campsite is very well kept, and quiet. If you are looking for somewhere to just relax and charge your batteries, then this is the place. We loved the Pizza Night, and the host was fabulous. Clean, comfortable beds. Disliked: There was a lack of basic kitchen equipment, a chopping board and a sharp knife, and a tin opener and corkscrew would be beneficial, but not essential.

Liked: We loved our stay at Strawfields, the hut was cosy, private and incredibly pretty. Everything you need and perfect for the local surfing beaches. Lots of things to do on site for children and nature lovers but my teen also loved just chilling by the fire and enjoying the hot shower! The host is lovely and couldn't be more hospitable and accommodating. We are already planning our next visit! Disliked: It is a short walk to the car park but really this is a plus point as vehicles coming and going right next to the cabins and meadow would completely spoil the feel of the place!

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Strawfields. We stayed in the hut which was perfect. Everything you needed for a relaxing weekend. The children loved feeding the animals and playing on the site. The pizza evening and elderflower ice lollys were a big hit. Alex and all the staff were really welcoming. We are returning visitors and will definitely be back again.

We had a fabulous stay in the Hideout. After a very busy week at Woolacombe Bay, we wanted somewhere to end our holiday, which was a little quieter and where we could recenter before returning back home to our busy lives.|The children loved the adventure it brought and my husband I were so thankful for the comfy beds. Everything is well thought out and so beautiful. We loved the pizza making night, the animal feeding and the outdoor shower, followed by a snooze in the hammock.|We highly recommend and would return in the future.

Amazing amazing amazing! Wife Daughter and myself stayed in the hayloft for a 4 day weekend and wow! Perfect location and grounds full of animals and friendly people loads of play equipment. This really was the mini break we needed to recharge the batteries. Straw Fields really is a perfect base to explore from but equally if happily stay here all day lay out under a tree with a book. If your bringing a crawling baby id maybe recommend one of the other 2 accommodations Vs Hayloft but other than that a perfect trip! Alex and Inca (the dog) were both welcoming and friendly and I can't wait to bring my toddler back next year.

We loved our stay at Strawfields. Alex and the ladies at the pop up waffle cafe were just the nicest. We stayed at the stables cottage with our dog and two children and we all loved it. We loved meeting the alpacas, our little private garden, the gorgeous cottage and the playground. The cottage was super comfortable and stylish. There’s a bathroom with a shower, and another en suite with a bath in the main bedroom. The only comment we had is that the bed in the main bedroom is a bit small. But everything else in the cottage was perfect. The boys loved having Lego to play with and reading new books. We didn’t stay at the campsite or in the huts, but we did walk around and it’s just a beautiful place to stay. We have been recommending it to all our friends.

Liked: Such a lovely small rustic campsite. Really peaceful location & really enjoyed our first experience of sleeping in a shepherd hut 🥰 with an outside wee hut & shower. Star gazing, warming ourselves by the fire pit an added bonus. Well thought out with large wheelbarrows to help carry stuff from the car park. Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

We stayed at the Owl Barn Cottage and it didn't disappoint! We absolutely loved this place. The cottage itself was clean, tidy and spacious, and had a great view overlooking the countryside and the animals in the foreground. We had our 2 year old toddler with us and he was in his element - he was able to feed the alpacas and the goats, and there was a trampoline and playground that were both in good condition. Also the host Alex was great, we honestly couldn't fault anything about this stay.
