Decided to see computers in person with my son rather than on-line. Arrived to nearly empty store. No tech support to be seen. Chose computer. No-one able to help us buy the computer. Waited for 20 minutes. Woman in front pushed in queue, waited 20 minutes [how many questions can be asked about a computer?!]. Other member of staff arrived. Told us the computer we wanted was in stock. Waited 10 minutes while he looked. Computer wasn't in stock. Refused to help us order online (didn't have time). Went online on phone in shop. Couldn't get student discount for 20 minutes (server slow). Got student discount code. Server stopped working. Informed that this happens all the time by same man who didn't have time to order the computer for us. We left after nearly two hours. Went online and bought the same computer for the same price at John Lewis. Surely Curry's will close if this is the service!

This branch used to be one of favourite place when we had most of applicants from them. Last week we went twice , we were looking for a dryer we asked for somebody to help us and he said it will take 20 to 30 minutes so will leave you on the waiting list. We went Second time we ask someone to help us again , he said sorry I have no idea about the dryer I will bring my colleague to help you. His colleague as well, When we asked our questions he doesn’t know the answers and he said I am customer service for gaming laptop and TV, he said another colleague knows better than me about the dryer, but she will start in one hour later you can ask her when she starts. Finally we ended up not buying the dryer. What a customer service they have……….

Very poorly run. My first visit I was told there was lot's of stock I wanted out the back but they can't show me, I must give them a code from the website so they can check. I gave them lot's of codes and they said not in stock. I asked can I see what you do have and he said no. 🤔 Another vist new stock not brought out even though you have asked them to check. Later found it was there. Staff have no clue on purchase limits as they differ depending on day, staff member or customer. One staff member in particular isn't very polite and recommended that I buy gold rather than spend money in the shop. Very strange! I have been trying to spend money for 2 month's and still yet to make a purchase. I feel very discriminated to be honest. I have worked in retail for many years and this is very poor. Strange store!

I went in to refund an item and Nikita was very rude. She gave me dirty looks without any valid reason and told me to shut up. I then got upset and told her to shut up and this is when things escalated. Her boyfriend suraj came into my face to threaten me. All the manager did nothing but to blame. Matt should of handled the situation better but he told me to leave. Instead of matt standing behind everyone and watching the drama unfold you should of come over and handled the sitation.

pathetic service slower then a snail i waited for 40 minutes for someone to guide me about computer so i can buy it i literally just have to ask about one spec and after asking from 3 workers they all said they are sending someone over but they never came and kept helping others or running to other directions. maybe its managers fault for keeping the shop so understaffed being greedy for profits but this is not a resturant its a tech shop so maybe you need to increase your workforce so the customers can be tended to. pathetic

Our cooker blew up and needed 1 quickly. Unfortunately, they had a very small range in store so couldn't get the item we wanted, however, the staff were helpful and polite and directed us toward the closest unit they had in stock. Paid, loaded and fitted !! No issues so far, thanks Currys 🙏

Im really surprised that a business of this size operates with such poorly trained staff. We were in to actually buy multiple items, laptop, monitor and smaller devices but could not get a clear answer from anyone. They have such little knowledge of the products, and when I asked if I could get a chromebook, this young lad just told me you'd be better getting it online because there's a queue system for ordering ones from their storage. Could have maybe mentioned that the first time we spoke a half hour earlier. I think this guy was just swanning around the laptops and I could see a few other customers looking totally bemused by his comments because he would really look reluctant to help. Massive shame, I left and decided to order direct from the suppliers rather than from Curry's.

The staff members, as well as the management, if you can call them that, are absolutely useless. The worst customer service I have ever witnessed. If they are not standing out the front smoking/vaping, they are stood with their heads in the clouds or aimlessly wondering about at the front of the store, ignoring customers. Worse yet, hiding from the public back in the staff area. They shout and belittle customers. Openly drink and eat energy drinks & sweets around electronics. Stink of cigarettes or body odour. The store is in complete disarray furthermore, absolutely filthy. Rats infest the stock room. Pigeons are left to walk into the store, both of which are pests. I will not be surprised to hear the store being closed down due to the inadequate health and safety, moreover, hygiene issues let alone the abysmal staff. A total waste of space.
