Beside The Sea Holidays

The place was lovely, very welcoming, and they had thought of everything. The beds were very comfortable, a large selection of kitchen equipment, and a good, safe garden for the dogs. Excellent location for the beach. We were 6 adults and found plenty of room to move about. Will hopefully stay again.

A really attractive modern cottage in a great location, a short walk from beautiful Camber Sands. The cottage is decorated tastefully and is very well presented. The kitchen is well equipped and the biscuits and lovely lemon cake were very welcome. The garden was attractive and has a bbq and fire pit. There is a small games room with will keep younger (and not so young) people amused. The bedrooms were also beautifully presented and comfortable. Everything was clean and bright on arrival.

The Surf Shack is a charming unique place tucked behind the Coastguard Cottages. We had a lovely stay there despite the worst storm imaginable. We felt safe and cosy there with every amenity anyone could possibly want. A welcome pack of milk, tea and coffee greeted us. First class bed linen and towels and super shower. We will have to go back for those barbeques and walks along the beach. Excellent advice provided of places to eat much needed given the weather.

A group of 6 of us stayed in the Light House and we had a lovely weekend! Even though we only stayed 2 nights it was a super comfortable and cleanly stay; the owners also very kindly left us with some treats. It was literal minutes drive from the beautiful Camber Sands beach and less than 10 minutes drive to Rye which is super charming. Would recommend staying here and would absolutely love to stay again, but for longer next time!

Excellent cottage with all of the facilities required for a great holiday. A modern property which is extremely convenient for Camber Sands beach. Miles of beach walks in all directions. ‘The Owl’ is a great pub within two minutes walk. Explored and visited many houses/castles in East Sussex and Kent so the cottage is an ideal base. The enclosed front and back gardens were ideal for our dogs.

Gorgeous Cottage, in a great location. Easy to get to the beach and to Rye and other beautiful spots. The cottage was spotless with tea and coffee making facilities including fresh milk, coffee, tea etc and some lovely welcome treats. The cottage was well equipped with everything you’d need including beach towels picnic baskets, reusable plastic s for picnic, fully functional and equipped kitchen. We loved the home from home feel. The thoughtful set up and peace and tranquility. Highly recommended and would love to stay again.
