Parkdean Resorts Camber Sands Holiday Park, Sussex

We recently stayed at Parkdean Camber Sands in a 2-bedroom Silver caravan and overall had a lovely midweek family break.||The caravan itself was clean, modern, and a good size for our family of four. It had all the basics we needed, but worth noting that there’s no washing-up liquid or toilet roll provided, so make sure to bring your own.||The swimming pool area was excellent – always clean, well-staffed with lifeguards, and well managed throughout our stay. Even though the park was fully booked, they still allowed walk-ins, which was great to see.||Our children (11 and 13) loved the midweek activity pass, which was great value for money. The activities team were fantastic, especially Tyler and Alfie, who went above and beyond to make sure the kids had a great time. One small suggestion would be to have a tablet or self-service booking system at leisure reception, or even better, allow bookings via the Parkdean app to help reduce the long queues to book activities.||The evening entertainment was another highlight – starting with fun for the younger children, followed by bingo and shows later on. The entertainment team’s energy and effort really stood out compared to other holiday parks we’ve visited.||Where things fell short was the hospitality side, particularly with the all-inclusive package. While it offered good value in theory, the 30+ minute queues just to order food or drinks made it hard to justify. Unfortunately, there’s no way to order via the app for all-inclusive guests, so everyone has to queue at the bar. We also had issues with our 13-year-old being charged adult prices but not being allowed adult soft drinks, which felt inconsistent and unfair.||Stock levels were another issue — pancakes were unavailable for three of our four days, removing nearly half of the breakfast options. On other mornings, there was no hot chocolate, milk, or veggie sausages. A big shout-out to Andy and Billy, who were brilliant despite being clearly short-staffed (something other reviews also seem to mention). The kitchen team deserve credit too — food was served hot and quickly most of the time, which we really appreciated.||Overall, we had an enjoyable Monday–Friday stay, and the kids absolutely loved it — from high ropes and bungee trampolines to archery, swimming, and more. There’s plenty to do onsite, so we didn’t even need to leave the park.||We’d definitely consider returning, especially if the hospitality and ordering systems are improved — as everything else about the stay made for a really fun and memorable family break.

This was our first caravan holiday, and we had a great time! The entertainment for the kids was fantastic—they loved the disco and bingo ga-ga. I was also really impressed with the adult entertainment. Our caravan was clean and tidy, but the communal toilets should be cleaned and restocked more frequently. The arcade floor could also do with a mop. The food wasn’t really my style, as it’s quite unhealthy, so we chose to eat out in Rye instead. That said, I would definitely go to Camber again!

Not bad. Certainly not the worst caravan holiday we have been on. Positives...Very good value for money, 4 nights cost £99 in half term. Activity bundle £95 for 16 activites which the kids could share.Entertainment was very good and the staff at the booking hub very friendly as were the activity staff...Tyler ws great with the kids, and so was Alfie but not sure how he still has a voice left after a day at work. 🤣🤣 Negatives...I was a bit disappointed that today we turned up to do pottery with our last 2 vouchers at 4.45 to be told it was shut, yet I looked online before we came and said spaces available to book for that time. I couldn't book online as you have to book the activity bundle slots in person. The amusements were absolutely filthy...like nothing I've ever seen before 🤢 it wasn't even as if they were cleaned and customers made it dirty, it just wasn't being cleaned at all, maybe the odd really bad sweep. The 2p machines were nearly always empty. Or literally 1 tiny sweet on them. And I couldn't believe how many tickets you needed for a £2 toy! Caravan was a gold caravan but both toilet seats hanging off and says fully equipped kitchen but no oven trays, no knives and no cheese grater. Never been on a caravan holiday before and these were not available. I had to grate cheese with a potato peeler 🫠 Only used the boathouse once for a coffee and was standing waiting for ages whilst 2 ladies on the bar were talking to each other and didn't acknowledge me at all...a young man saw me waiting and came to serve me straight away, i think his name was Billy, so thank you to him or I probably would have left empty handed. Most of our holiday was ok but the cleaning standards are really not good enough in the complex. And other parkdean resorts are alot better. Also I really think the booking system with the activity passes really needs to improve. Have included a picture of booking i screenshot after we got back to the caravan, showing that there should have been a 4.45 slot but it was closed.

What a week it has been! Camber Sands is by far the best holiday park i have been to for such a long time!! The park is so beautiful and the scale of the park is amazing! We stayed in one of their chalets and it was just superb! The cleanliness was incredible and it had everything you needed for the week! Having so many different things on park like a shop, multiple places to eat and loads of activities made it so easy to create memories and have a good week. We didn't need to leave the park once all week because everything we needed was right on our door step. We had a small issue with some flooding in our chalet due to the heavy rain but the situation was dealt with efficiently and respectfully so i cannot fault the team at Camber whatsoever. Personal highlight for me was the absolute sensational entertainment staff, who were larger than life and so full of energy whilst delivering showstopping entertainment every single night. I am definitely coming back to Camber Sands! Best holiday ever!!

Just back from a half term break at parkdean camber sands. This is the 5th parkdean park we visited and probably the worst one. Everything is looking a bit tired and just needs some money spending on it. The swimming pool is good and very warm and on-site activities seem very good value. All the staff we met where very friendly and helpful. The caravan we stayed in wasn't very clean, my 2 year old daughter even found a tablet under the bed that had been missed, Not good! The caravan would benefit from a deep clean. If you're planning days out there isn't much to do in the local area. Needless to say we wouldn't return.

Took daughter and niece for long Halloween themed weekend. ||Started poorly as paid for early check in as had activities planned in afternoon and when in caravan found it not cleaned and full of rubbished. Manager attend in person and they resolved, but it disrupted start of weekend.||Caravan was ok, but needed attention as lots of fixtures such as curtains and bathroom fitting needed attention that could have been easily fixed with a little maintenance.||Activity and entertainment staff were excellent and kids and adults really enjoyed the activities and entertainment. Lots to choose from and the staff made time to interact with the kids and activities fun. Important to book in advance for some of the more popular ones.||Boathouse food good and quickly served, but let down by drink service. Whether app or at bar. Finished food before drinks arrived every time. Even tried ordering drinks earlier to compensate and still had to chase every drink order. 20-30 minute most times. Not experienced this as other Parkdean sites. Main showbar didn’t have same problem.

We arrived yesterday. Check in staff were friendly and let us check on early as the chalet had been cleaned already. We enjoyed the activities we had pre booked. Once we had finished swimming we received a courtesy call to see that everything thing was okay with where we're staying. The entertainment was grate for kids! The restaurant staff were very nice and friendly. We enjoyed the food. The restaurant Manager was so lovely, and her husband Andy, who also worked in the restaurant. We enjoyed chatting with them. Over all we're very pleased. Thank you! 😄

Camber Sands is a perfect location with idyllic beaches, beautiful sand dunes and Parkdean Resort across the road. We stayed at the wonderful Parkdean Resort at Camber Sands, in a gorgeous, very modern large caravan with all mod cons, with a fully fitted kitchen with a full gas cooker, including oven, large fridge freezer, large dining area to eat in, huge comfortable lounge area, 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds , 2 bathrooms, central heating throughout, exceptionally clean and tidy. Fiona and Ellie ensured our stay was perfect, maintaining our caravan to a high standard. All the Reception Staff were very friendly and really helpful. Groundsmen maintaining and keeping the site clean and tidy daily. Highly recommended! Thank you Parkdean Camber Sands for a brilliant stay!
