Been to many escape rooms in Yorkshire and can say this is the best escape room I've been to so far. Puzzles make sense and there's creative ideas I've not seen elsewhere. Hint system is how it should be and the theme is engaging and fun. Would recommend this to anyone! Claire the host is fantastic. Looking forward to coming again!

We have done lots of escape rooms all over and this really was one of the best we’ve ever done! We did the Afterlife room which is currently their only one but they have another room in development. Brilliant balance of immersion/experience with the puzzles themselves. Some puzzle types we’ve never seen before. The lady at the desk was engaged, helpful and an escape room expert with some recommendations of her own! Great - I super recommend it here!

Definitely the best escape room we have done. We made it out with only 53 seconds to spare! I really enjoyed the different types of puzzles and technology they used, it wasn't just pad locks and combination locks like some of the other escape rooms we have tried. Would recommend to anyone looking to do an escape room in Yorkshire.

We were a group of five people who have never done any escape rooms at all. Vincent, the gamemaster, welcomed us very warmly and explained the rules in a very likeable and understandable way. The themes of the rooms were done very well and all the little details add a ton to the immersion. The puzzles itself were quite challenging but always fair. They really gave us the feeling of accomplishment plus everybody was involved and helped in their own ways. If you're looking for an escape room with a dark theme, or if you're just new and want to check it out, definitely don't hesitate and come here :)

I played X-Initiation at the beginning of March (luckily just before the lockdown), X-it's mobile game where they take the escape experience to you. I am an Escape Room lover and have done many different Escape Rooms before but this was my first experience of a mobile version. I have to admit, at first I was a bit sceptical about how the enjoyment would compare to being in an actual escape room with all the bells and whistles, but I was pleasantly surprised that this did not disappoint! It was thoroughly enjoyable and exciting, with a good level of challenge. I was in a group of 4, with 2 of us being quite experienced with escape rooms, and we both enjoyed the experience, finding some of the tasks/puzzles quite challenging to work out. We completed it in good time within the allocated hour, but felt involved and busy throughout. It doesn't take up much room, we had it all fit on one table, but I suppose you could have it dotted about in different parts of the room if you wanted. Our host Clare was delightful, arrived on time and was very prompt in answering if we were stuck and needed help. I highly recommend this mobile experience, what a great idea that the escape room can come to you! Can't wait to go there and play Afterlife!

Hands down one of the best rooms we have played. Really good site, fantastic staff with a realy good knowledge of not only there own games but really passionate about the escape game industry. Could of chatted for hours! The game it's self was a fantastic mix of gen 1and tech. Not once did I feel overwhelmed as the puzzles and story took my on a awesome journey. Very highly recommend!

This was the coolest and well presented eacape room I have been to! Claire the gamesmaster was very attentive and took good care of us. The games were logical and not linear which allowed us to do multiple puzzles at the same time. The puzzles made sense and the set up was astounding. So much detail went into this escape room and it shows. Overall the best escape room so far! I look forward to the next one.

Great escape room experience. Vincent was great: a real entusiast who got us in the mood for the game perfectly. He also judged when to give clues very well; it felt like we weren't being helped too soon but he didn't let us struggle for too long either. The game itself is a really good mix of puzzles and the speed you progress through is really nicely judged. At the time of writing, they only have the one game but it's definitely worth the visit. We'll be back when the new one opens.
