Equinox Maintenance Ltd

In July, my TV screen was replaced, but the technicians cracked the back case during the process, and the new screen only lasted less than a month. I’ve reported the issue to Domestic and General, but they keep asking for photos of the faults, despite my repeated submissions via email and WhatsApp. They continuously request the same information and then close the job for non-compliance. When I call them, they simply reopen a new repair job, and the cycle repeats without any progress on the repair. Domestic and General needs to consider partnering with a more capable company, as they clearly lack the resources to meet customer demands and fulfill their service level agreements. They keep closing jobs and creating new ones without resolution. Additionally, I've noticed that other consumers are sharing similar experiences with Equinox in their reviews.

If only it was possible to rate 0 stars, useless company Engineer turned up claimed the TV was physically damaged and left again leaving a sarcastic comment because he had to haul himself up 2 flights of stairs only to not fix anything and leave with the parts, didn't want to hear the actual chain of events Everyone in their office stuck to the same script despite the language barriers so that they didn't have to do any further work. If you end up with the misfortune of having to deal with equinox, don't bother pursue actions via visa under consumer rights

After only a few months of owning it we’ve had lots of software problems on our Phillips tv so they arranged for their repair team (Equinox) to take it to be fixed. The customer service team have been polite but the engineers and delivery guys have been terrible. They’ve had our tv for over a month now with no communication other than to say they would return it after they somehow found no faults… And then when they did return it a few days ago it’s clearly been dropped and/or dragged on the ground at the workshop as the corner is smashed and scratched up, and there’s lines on the screen. The delivery guy pretended not to see the smashed corner and was about to leave but we pointed it out and took photos so it can’t be blamed on us. So they’ve taken it back for more repairs and again no communication about if they’ve even received it.

Tv Repair under warranty - parts ordered and engineer came on said day as planned. (Text messages kept me up to date) Repaired TV and he even checked all working okay before he left. Company were very approachable via the phone and the engineer was a credit to them too. Overall I am impressed with the repair service - took 2 weeks from ordering parts to the repair which is very decent considering a repair can up to 4 weeks with some TVs under warranty.

1/5 – Avoid Equinox TV Repair Service I had an awful experience with Equinox. Their communication was terrible, as they scheduled appointments whenever they wanted—then canceled them just as easily, with no regard for my time. When I tried to get help, their phone support was rude and completely unhelpful. Instead of resolving my issue, they dragged it out for almost two months, only for TCL to step in and refund me instead. Equinox did nothing to fix the problem. If you’re looking for a reliable repair service, stay far away from this company. They wasted my time, gave me nothing but frustration, and ultimately didn’t even do their job.

Will never be buying TCL and using these people!

If you read this review most probably you have been affected to by this disgusting company. I would’ve avoided but unfortunately is not in my control as this is the one working with Domestic and General. My LG tv is due to be fixed by this company After calling nearly everyday and they have not been capable to give me not even an update regarding the eta suddenly the part arrived and repair was scheduled for today. Called last week to make sure everything alright as I need to take a day off from work to wait for the engineer to come and do the work…i have been assured that everything is fine and they will add a note in the system that is very important not to reschedule! Obviously last night got a text stating that because of “unforeseen “ circumstances they cancelled my appointment and rescheduled for Monday. So now i am home unpaid and again Monday I need to take another day of because of this disgusting behaviour. Hopefully in the future Domestic and General will lose more customers and get rid of this company. Paid 4 years for the premium and 2 days of from work and I could nearly get a new TV. Don’t use this company if you have the possibility

As numerous others have posted here, they are a terrible business to be avoided where possible. Unfortunately in our case, Philips ( a frequent name here in relation to TV’s it would seem ) use them for TV warranty repairs. Three cancelled visits so far, not holding out much hope for the fourth visit. They are polite enough on the phone and are clearly used to letting people down by placating them with comments such as “you are a priority”. Wow. Would hate to experience a non-priority treatment given it’s been over a month now for repair since they continuously cancel without reason. A business not fit for purpose, grown fat and complacent as a result of the patronage from manufacturers like TP Vision (Philips)
