My mum loves a penny arcade so when we spotted Sunspot Amusements on our way to dinner, we had to make a pit stop so she could change a pound coin into two pences and play on the machines. My son loved the lights and colours, and my mum satiated her addiction to affordable gambling so everyone had a great time. The place is clean, welcoming and has lots of fun 2p and 10p machines. We managed to rack up some tickets so my son out with a new set of bubbles to play with. Really fun!

My daughter won 2 teddies from the claw machine. She is always quite good at them and always seems to have good luck with them and quite often wins a few wherever we go! When the staff saw that she had already won 2, a lady came over and quickly told us that she "needs to do something to the machine as it must be broken as shouldn't give out 2 so quickly!" So in another words they are in fact rigged. We didn't bother spending another penny in there, it was so rude!! she could have pretended to restock it and fiddled around with it. Silly really as my daughter may have been lucky and won another one, but we would have probably spent alot more in there before we left.

Great value for money and machines give out plenty of tickets, so winning prizes is realistic. Friendly and helpful staff. Only gave 4 stars because some of the games, such as the nurf shooting and zombie shooting ones, are very short and over very quickly even if you don't lose a life.

My son is a huge fan of arcades and Sega Rally 3 in particular so we visit every day when in Woolacombe. A little gem.

Great fun a real highlight for any seaside town is a visit to an arcade. They had plenty of machines available! I even managed to win on the 2p machines!

Went to play in the over 18 section, I decided to put £20 in notes into a machine,chose the game I wanted to play, but then realised that it would only bet £1 or £2 a go which I'm not used to! Our arcade machine lets you start from 20p,so I decided to collect my money back,it gave me back pound coins! So chose another machine which is where the real problem began! The new machine kept spitting out the pound coins that I was putting in! Eventually £10 were accepted which was when I realised that I was £1 short,so Went to explain to the member of staff that was there, he didn't understand what I was trying to explain to him and seemed to have a bit of an arrogant attitude,but eventually another one turned up and I thought that I would get somewhere with him,but no! He was even worse and was very rude!!! In the end I eventually got my £1 that was lost in one of the two machines that I tried! Because of they're attitude and rudeness not only did i not play my £20, but my partner was on another machine and was £10 up on what he had originally put in! So they lost money from both of us!!!

Nice little arcade in Woolacombe. Well the only one. Good to spent an hour to so. I'm afraid we put a fiver in the over 18s area and won a jackpot so ran away while we were ahead!
